A New York City condo on the 80th floor of a midtown high-rise is this week’s most expensive new listing on realtor.com®. The 6,240-square-foot unit, which features massive columns, soaring ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city and Central Park, is priced at $60 million.

The unit was purchased in 2014 for $52,952,500 by an entity known as Lapusny Inc. The buyer’s identity has since remained a mystery.

Built in 2013, the 90-story skyscraper known as One57 was designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architect Christian de Portzamparc to emulate a cascading waterfall. It features the “longest south-to-north views of Central Park ever offered in private residences.”

The magnificent apartment is also available for rent for $125,000 a month. It’s $150,000 a month fully furnished, minus the artwork.

The apartment was previously available for lease last fall. At the time, Curbed declared it the priciest “non-hotel rental” on the market.

The great room, with its 360-degree vistas and 12-foot-high ceiling, features multiple seating and dining areas. The open kitchen offers space for a breakfast table.

The south wing holds four en suite bedrooms, a sitting room, and a laundry room. The master suite offers north, east, and south views, a sitting area, dressing room, and double master baths.

Residents can take advantage of the amenities of the Park Hyatt Hotel, which takes up the first 39 floors of the building. Amenities include the indoor pool, spa, and fifth-floor bar and restaurant. The hotel also provides 24/7 in-room dining.

Homeowners at One57 are provided 24/7 door attendants, concierge service, a screening room, gym, and yoga studio.

The Wall Street Journal recently reported that Dell Technologies founder and CEO Michael Dell purchased a penthouse in One57 for over $100 million in 2014.

Deborah Kern of the Corcoran Group holds the listing.
