Millions Check Out Tom Brady’s Mansion—It’s the Week’s Most Popular Home

In a surprise play call, legendary Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, have put their stylish mansion in Massachusetts on the market for $39.5 million. And just like the six-time Super Bowl champ, his home is a winner—it strutted away with the title of this week’s most popular home on®.

As soon as the news broke, millions of looky-loos fired up their browsers to get a glimpse inside the Brady-Bundchen compound. The news sparked panic for some Patriots fans, who were worried that the sale signaled the end of the superstar’s time with the Pats. Brady did his best to allay those fears, reminding fans that the sale of a nearly $40 million mansion takes time. (His signing a two-year, $70 million contract extension didn’t hurt, either.)

Brady isn’t the only QB attracting clicks this week. Steelers signal caller Ben Roethlisberger is also selling a massive mansion in Pennsylvania that’s drawing plenty of attention. However, Steelers fans can also rest easy, Big Ben and his family have reportedly built another home in the area.

Besides A-list NFL talent, you also clicked on a cavalcade of massive mansions. There’s a Virginia country estate from 1776 on more than 650 acres, a Mediterranean palace in Georgia that’s been on the market for a decade, and a massive mansion down the block from Brady’s that’s over half off its original list price of $90 million.

We think all of the week’s most popular properties are a score in one way or another. Scroll on down to peruse the entire list.

10. 7005 NE Marine Dr, Portland, OR

Price: $13,900 Why it’s here: It’s a floating house, available for less than the price of a used car! The two-bedroom residence on the Columbia River sits on steel pontoon floats. New owners will need to find a new moorage spot and perform what the listing calls “due diligence for inspections,” but this barge has the potential to be a great deal on a one-of-a-kind home.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building also known as the Stoops Hotel sits north of Albany, NY, and close to the Vermont border. Price: $4,500,000 Why it’s here: Known as the Goodman mansion, it’s marketed as “one of the most significant homes in Chicago.” If the listing details are to be believed, the Queen Anne–style home from 1892 just underwent a three-year, $4.5 million restoration. Craftsmen were brought in from Europe to perfect details like the Jacobean ceilings, paneling, porches, 12 fireplaces, and a 40-foot ballroom. The seven-bedroom home offers 18,000 square feet of living space and sits on nearly an acre of landscaped grounds.

Price: $39,500,000 Why it’s here: Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is ready to make moves, including selling the massive mansion outside Boston he shares with his wife, Gisele, and their brood.
