Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lived in a lot of posh places—Kensington Palace and Adelaide Cottage to name a few—but the latest house they’ve allegedly selected to stay in may be their best digs yet.
The place is called Villa Del Mare—a $40 million, six-bedroom property located far, far away in Sydney. According to the Herald Sun, the royal pair reportedly booked a weeklong stay there in October during their first royal tour as a married couple. (It’s also so Harry can attend the Invictus Games, a sporting event the prince founded for wounded, injured, or sick armed service personnel and veterans.)
While the royal family has made no indication that Villa Del Mare is indeed where Harry and Meghan will be kicking back while Down Under, we have to say, the place certainly seems fit for royalty. At over 6,500 square feet, the mansion comes complete with both beach front and harbor views, a wine cellar, and a private butler service—although one wonders whether they might prefer BYOB (bring your own butler).
After checking out the listing pics, we might dare say this place outshines all those fuddy-duddy English palaces they’ll be leaving in the dust. As proof, here’s an inside tour that’ll make you wish you were royalty, too (or at least had their vast coffers so you could book a week in this palatial vacation home, too).
